I build every trade around the Volume Profile — specifically session profiles and delta-by-price. I look for Value Area Rotations, absorption above VAH, and rejection setups, using volume to identify where price is likely to go next rather than guessing.
Market Generated Information (prior-week VAH/VAL, overnight highs/lows, week open levels) gives me a pre-built roadmap before the session starts. I watch how order flow reacts as price approaches these levels — not to predict, but to react.
I focus almost exclusively on the first two hours of RTH (8:30–10:30 CT). I target modest, defined profit goals (~30 pts NQ, 7–10 ES), move my stops to breakeven quickly, and have no problem scratching a trade that isn't working. My goal is small, consistent wins — not home runs.
