Trading Approach
I look to participate in hourly trends via a 2 and 5-minute entry model, trading ES/NQ. This gives me a clear framework for aligning shorter-term execution with the broader hourly move.
I implement a mean reversion entry model at support and resistance, always in the direction of the higher timeframe. This keeps me trading with the dominant trend rather than against it, even when looking for a reversion-style entry.
I use a directional entry model only when price forms acceptance at support or resistance. Waiting for acceptance helps confirm the level is holding before committing to a directional trade.
I focus on the first 2-3 hours of the day, generating 1-3 trade ideas from my morning plan. Concentrating on this window keeps my process focused and selective rather than chasing setups throughout the session.
